i’m confused on how this works, right now it shows i’m prestige 1 level 20 instead of prestige 6 and i’m not sure why. in the picture above, it looks as if i’ve hit some prestige’s a few times. it it just bugged or something?

That’s Legacy Progression, a separate system to the current Vanguard S1-5 and post-season tally.
You had hit Prestige 3 at the end of CW Season 1. Didn’t Prestige in Season 2, and then made it to 5 in 3, and 6 in 4.
Therefore, the highest Cold War reward that you’ll be able to buy, will be Prestige 6 or lower.
Progression was then reset when Vanguard launched, and Cold War’s progression was filed under the Legacy tab.
Lifetime Prestige is the only counter that talles both Career and Legacy. (Which sometimes doesn’t display right, and requires you to exit and re-enter the menu, before it actually counts both numbers.)
