After 3 years, 36 days played, a global rank of 5,947, I am what I am, and I know who I am.
The way I play is with ARs or SMGs only. Dual Diamatties as a secondary. I’ve never used a sniper, shotgun, crossbow, LMGs, or Marshals. The exceptions being that I’m sure at some point I have picked up an LMG or sniper or something when I needed a gun due to lack of ammo.
The way I play is, good routes, anticipation, positioning, and movement, all in that order. That’s my playstyle. It starts by taking a good route. You will never see my run across mid or try to cross a known headie or window camping spot. I will peak them, but never blindly cross them. Then it’s anticipation. Based on my mini map, map and spawn rotation knowledge, and where I’ve previously died from, I’ll know where I should expect enemies (but as we know it doesn’t always work out that way). Then it’s positioning. I position myself to win this gunfight. I will be hugging a wall, or be in the least often peaked spot in whatever location I’m in, utilizing cover. You will never see me standing wide open in a lane. And then it’s movement. Movement is last for me, and this was taught to me by a top 50 player in the world who I just so happened to get taken under the wing of due to another connection I have. It’s the crackheads who might have the best gun skill and movement who will die the most because they’re exposed the most due to their confidence. Movement should be utilized when working around the map slide canceling and when in those surprise gunfights. Learning that I don’t have to be the most cracked person in the match if I’m the smartest person in the match really changed things drastically for the better for me. You will never see me camped out or in a corner unless I’m pinched or very confused or I hear someone coming and I’ll take a corner that gives me their back.
How do you play?
