Anyone here use a Surround Sound setup at your desk? – – – (This isn’t mine, I’ve seen it on reddit in a few places, but I thought it might be a good conversation starter!)

I’ve got this, but the rear speakers only ever got used when I watched DVDs. These days they never get used.
Save the surround sound for the home theatre.

I’m too claustrophobic for that. I can’t imagine not being able to roll my chair back or stand up and just walk away when I feel like it.

I’m a home theater, thx, dolby digital geek so I have surround sound at the desk. Love it
I couldn’t game without it.
Also can’t join the sound bar crowd. Something about the lack of depth, power, and just weak center or voice channel just doesn’t do it for me.

Yep – got a basic Yamaha TSS-1 setup that I thrifted for like 30 bucks. Never looked back.

No. It’s overkill and taking too much room space. 2.1 for me, I dont think I need surround sound ever, except if I had home theater.
