This felt really weird in-game and I recorded it just to look back on it later. I watched the clip in slow motion a few times now that I realized it was actually Booya.
I had smoke out and he clearly doesn’t have a thermal. He tracks and locks on to me immediately before ADSing and lighting me up.

He probably saw your movement throwing down the smoke and after he’s just letting his aim assist follow you.
