I finally got the Easter Egg. Been playing solo for almost a decade. Hundreds of hours put exclusively into Origins, first on BO2, then on BO3. Never once beat it, until today! I think I can die happy now.

I used a guide, of course, but from the beginning I committed myself to one rule: I will only look up the next step in the guide once I had completed the previous and was sure I couldn’t figure it out on my own.
I always hoped I could discover the solution to an EE without looking it up, which proved practically impossible, but I never broke that rule, and it did lead to me discovering at least the obvious stuff on my own.
Never looked up a strategy guide, even. Did that shit the old fashioned way. Well, as close to old fashioned as I could manage. Once I encountered and figured out some of the latter steps, in the past couple weeks, it snowballed straight into a victory.
Honestly, it ended up being quite easy once I figured out how I could accomplish latter steps earlier in a session.
Big shout out to [this guide](http://www.glitchingqueen.com/origins.html) from Glitching Queen, been incrementally cracking through it since the start. I know the staff guide images like the back of my hand. I remember looking at them on my parents old computer, pausing the game to dart back and forth from my PS3 to the computer desk to crack the codes.
12 year old me would be proud.
