I always regretted buying MW2 on [Battle.net](https://Battle.net) instead of Steam. Gah.
I just switched from KBM to a DualSense2 three weeks ago. It has felt ridiculously hard to get kills.
But today, I had launched Steam to take a look at Battlefield on my second monitor, while waiting for my match in WZ to start. And immediately after Steam loaded, I felt my aim assist kick on. It felt like my crosshairs were stuck on the enemy. Earlier today, while I was aiming, I would constantly fly across the screen and had a hard time getting any precision. This was noticably diffferent.
Any ideas about what might be causing this? If I exit out of Steam completely, my controls go back to pretty much no Aim Assist.
Steam was also loading an on-screen keyboard while I was playing. Still trying to figure out what sequence of buttons keeps causing that to happen.

Could be a problem with battle net and windows more specifically not recognizing the playstation controller fully. Have you download ds4 windows? That program allows windows to fully recognize the play station controller while playing games not on steam. Also warzone is free If you do want to download it again through steam and take advantage of the great controller support they have (you wont need to to download ds4 this way, even though its still handy to have) All you have to do is connect your activison account.
use ds4windows not steam to handle your controller
I definitely have aim assist with an Xbox controller on Bnet; recital drag and all that. I’m inclined to believe what the others suggest with regards to a windows/ps controller compat issue
