Hi all! I’m an industrial designer exploring what Honda’s 125cc lineup would look like if it had a bit more 80’s styling. As cool as the modern bikes are with their 60’s styling, there seems to be a 44 year aesthetic gap between the Dax (originally launched in 1969) and the Grom (2013). I pulled a lot of inspiration from Honda scooters of the early 80s, primarily the Motocompo and Elite.
For now, this is just a concept and passion piece as I build up a portfolio and hopefully break myself away from my full-time corporate design life. Hope you enjoy the idea.
