Most of the enemy team had 20-40 kills and no more than 2 deaths within a minute of the match and there was almost every killstreak in the game all at once. I redownloaded this game after a little over a year and this is my first match. Is this common?

I meant to put a “?” In the title
I’ve been playing since launch and I’ve had maybe just a handful of situations we’re I thought someone was cheating. I’ve had plenty of games were I’ve just destroyed the enemy team, especially if you are in a party with other sweats.
The game is several years old at this point and some people never left, and in BO4, the skill gap in gunfights was probably at its highest due to how long it takes to kill compared to other titles, honestly, those stats don’t say ‘cheater’ to me, when this game was out me and my boy would play tdm and have 80-90 of our teams kills between us on a consistent basis, these kids probably just mastered everything there is to master about this game and they’re also partied up, that shit is so easy when you have team mates who are also good
I’ve had a match where my team won 100-14 kills. No one there is a hacker but I’ve had encountered a few hackers on the PS4 version who use Spectre’s sword permanently and can jetpack everywhere.
Even though it’s harder than the PS3/360 days, yes you can still cheat on console.

However, maybe you just ran into a party of extreme tryhards or really good players. Unfortunately it’s hard to tell even with famous content creators, because console and game devs for the most part do a subpar job of stopping console cheaters especially those who use devices like xim, zen, strikepack, etc.
