Can recommend Dayton audio c-note kit. Not hard to make. Sounds great. Tremendous value for the sound/quality. I ran stereo with a minidsp and upgraded to 5.1 using an AV receiver via HDMI from GPU…

don’t have speaker recommendations but if you are hooking them up to your computer you could get a soundcard for better audio quality
