Many consider Verruckt the most scary map – in your opion, what’s the least scary?

  1. Excluding Infinite Warfare – Revelations is definitely a contender for me. Maybe some BO4 maps?

The Archon. It’s pretty much the only map that has absolutely NO spooky areas or anything scary

  3. I’ll do one from each game.

WaW— Probably Der Riese, which itself is really creepy.

BO1– Shangri La for sure. It’s the “pretty” map.

BO2: Origins, but like Der Riese it’s more of a least of the scariest.

BO3: Probably Der Eisendrache, there isn’t a lot of horror to that map.

BO4: Probably Tag for Aether and any of the Chaos maps with the exception of Dead of the Night.

Buried. Not even once went “ooo spooky” or got jumpscared by a zombie running the corner, or even admired the horror vibes. Buried got no fear. Der Eisendrache is a close second.

    Of ones I’ve played, Revelations.

I have quite a few I find the least scary:

    Anything in BO3 (except Zetsubou)

    Spaceland / Radioactive Thing

    Alpha Omega

Anything in Vanguard (because I laugh at the thought of playing the maps, so I never take them seriously)

    Out of Treyarch, probably Revelations.

Out of all CoD zombies, it’s gotta be Spaceland

WaW: Shi No Numa. Always found it to be pretty cozy compared to the other maps. Not many horror elements in here, and the Wonderwaffe+Ultimis crew definitely adds to the lighter tone and atmosphere.

BO1: Either Shang, or Ascension. Leaning towards Shang, that map went out of it’s way to be quite pretty, and not so creepy in terms of lore/environments.

BO2: Probably Die Rise. Not a comfy atmosphere by any means, but there isn’t a whole lot to freak you out on this map. I’d say Origins if the Panzer siren didn’t come up in my nightmares.

BO3: Revelations is just a pure nostalgia fueled, visually stunning power trip. Might have some creepy imagery in places, but it’s just been a chill time for me since I’ve first played it.

BO4: IX is more cool then anything else. I guess the dungeon can freak you out when first playing, but the rest of the map is vibrant and just sells the feeling of the coliseum perfectly.

Cold War: Take your pick, really. I don’t think any of the maps really tried for a horror atmosphere for longer then ten seconds, and that’s fine. Scariest is probably Mauer, and the other three are in the same tier
