You can check the crash log to see if it’s tied to a specific tool or app. For me I had to reinstall the Logitech gaming software as it was crashing MW
Have a look at C:/Users/yourname/Apodaca/local/Activision
Sort by last edited and then have a look at the dxdiag log, at the very button of the file you can see what process caused the crash

Yes! Only when closing the game. Not during, so some kind of glitch. Probably related to the new “rejoin” feature causing issues.

Yeah got it after closing first time since update. Played 5 hours without a crash. Fingers crossed.

I got it too, for no reason. Game works fine before and after.

I’ve been getting this error since the game launched with my 6950XT.
Turning off the AMD driver overlays and sharpening stuff was the only thing that helped, and just barely since I still get the error. It also crashes discord when it happens.
Good to know I will get to see my favorite game_ship error even when the game isn’t crashing out.
