This “new” exploit everyone is afraid of was released Dec 25th 2021 and uses an exploit dating back to BO3. It does not give people the ability to DOX you. NOTHING has changed, EVERYTHING you do online can expose your IP. It’s not the risk people are claiming, go ask your ISP about it.

If this makes playing the game un-safe then doing anything online is un-safe. Every website you visit is logging your IP. Every online game lobby can give away your IP to someone running a packet sniffer. MW2 is not immune nor is any other online game. This is not a valid reason to stop playing CW, nothing has changed.
If they can sniff out an IP and crash a game, who knows what else can be done. Remember de ranking people to lvl 1 in MW2? I don’t see why they couldn’t push something malicious to the console either. I guess I’d rather be safe than sorry.
