Home Office Build in progress. Finishing the basement and working on my office at the same time. I still have over half the room to finish with a retro 32-bit AMD/ATi vs Intel/Nvidia setup. So far, it’s looking nice.

Top Left – 2007 Build, same year I got my first IT job, and yes it’s functional.
>AMD Athlon 64 x2 6400+ (I had a BE version, obtained cheap off ebay due to bent pins, fixed and used it for years, gifted the pc away and he later tossed it)
>MSI Platinum AM2 MoBo
>4GB OCZ Reaper DDR2 800mt/s
>4x ATi HD 3870’s in QuadFire (top one is a 1GB GDDR3 variant, I had one single slot 512mb version)
>SanDisk 32GB SATA I SSD
>WD 1TB HDD
>Rosewill 750W 80+ Gold PSU
>Montech case
Top Right – 2009 Build, if I want to play older games on a period correct machine.
>AMD Phenom II x4 965 BE
>ASUS MoBo
>8GB OCZ Reaper DDR2 800mt/s
>ATi HD 4890’s in CrossFire
>120GB OCZ SATA II SSD
>WD 1TB HDD
>Rosewill 850W 80+ Gold PSU
Shelves – a hand full I used in past builds, most of its just items I’ve collected (couple items in route)
>Top two; I tried collecting GPU’s with Agent Ruby art. As well the figurines from between 2007 and 2009. I believe Diamond Multimedia was the main user of Agent Ruby.
>Bottom two; some are parts I’ve used, some just items I’ve collected.

Why all AMD and ATI? When I got into gaming in 1997 as a child, I could only afford AMD and ATI while I worked as a farm hand for cash at age 13. As I got older and made a little more, I bought what I could afford, which was always AMD and ATi. Outside of Server equipment, I’ve never had a Intel Prosumer build (except a Intel P4 HT x86 & GeForce 6800 Ultra OC AGP build for my 32-bit corner). I did have one Nvidia GPU, for a short stent, a 2nd hand, a binned AORUS 1080ti WB version. I then sold it for to buy a RX 5700XT LD.
I’ll post once more, when my office is completely done. This is just part of it thus far. Going to the basement to work is now enjoyable.

I miss ATI and all the ridiculous box art they had on things like the All-In-Wonder cards. Like when DVI was the shit. Love that u still have all this stuff.
