Edit: it seems that the suggestion to install the game to the hard drive is meant to be done using a healthy disc so that you can then use the disc you have to run the HDD install.

My PS3 always freezes while loading Mob of the Dead.
Tried factory resetting, deliting game files, it feels like I tried everything.
That was long ago tho, but still have the ps3 and Bo2

Try to see if something similar to [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/XboxSeriesX/comments/ueu5lk/how_to_install_a_physical_copy_of_a_game_disc/) is possible for the Xbox 360. Apparently it’s possible to download the game to the hard drive (edit: and try this using a different disc). So, try that to see if it would fix the problem.
