I’ve been working on perfecting my Raygun model for almost 3 years now, and I think I’ve hit the ceiling of what’s left to improve with “version 5, electronic” (V5E for short).
I’ve had many requests to make it light up and after much trial and error it’s beautiful! The images do it no justice I promise you.
Like the game, the switch and the dial turn the gun on. It has a powerful built in speaker that plays the startup sound, shooting sound, and reloading sound that unfortunatly isn’t shown here in this post. The barrel opens up and has removable prop batteries that fit in the gun.
It charges through USB-C and has a 5 hour battery life (from my testing).
I’d love to know y’alls honest thoughts on this as I believe this is my best work so far!
I also don’t want to shamelessly advertise but this gun will soon be for sale on my Etsy for those intrested. I’ll soon be doing a limited run of serialized rayguns 1-20!
Please check out my Instagram and/or Etsy for other things I make and even the build process of this here raygun.
