Not sure of your budget or the specs of your existing speakers but the best desktop speakers I’ve had in years are the Edifier 1280DB. A set of stereo “bookshelf” speakers. Would highly recommend them.
Nice set up. Need them to fit on your desk? A proper set of bookshelf or tower speakers are always going to sound better than anything you can easily fit on a desk, but fitting them in is the problem
