It’s my first custom cooling build. Had some ups and downs throughout. Learned a ton. Had some disasters, such as soaking my previous Maximus z790 extreme in coolant when I tried to drain it. Swapped cases half way through, from a Cosmos c700m to the HAF Evo 700. Have to say, the difference is night and day, the HAF is light years ahead.
Used soft tubing throughout, which is was grateful for. Very forgiving for a novice like me. Bought a small water pump to flush radiators and fill reservoirs, and it helps enormously. Also, the EKWB torque compression fittings are really easy to work with.
Had to spend a bunch of time setting up fans in the bios because initially, with the 13 fans, it sounded like a jet engine. Now I have fans on around 30% until it hits 75+ degrees, which is very rarely does. Have pump running at 50% until 50 degrees, then a gradual upward curve. Definitely have too many fans, as the bottom, thicker, p420 radiator is sandwiched between two rows of 3x140mm fans (both rows working together); but on the flip side, it looks really cool.
Mainly using this for work, and gaming. Primarily VR. Have a Valve Index VR set, and a professional grade racing cockpit, wheel and pedals, which I use to play F1 2022. Previous 12900k + 3090 build would run smoothly on medium settings at about 90-120fps. New set up runs Ultra high settings, without a hitch, at 144fps.

Hello Traditional_Ebb_2388, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!
To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!
Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!
