  1. Your text to speech translator messed up some of its grammar. Also your argument is illogical:

    1) Violence may have the potential to enhance immersion but that doesn't stop it from having an effect on young children, we have ratings systems for a reason. Most young kids cant distinguish fiction from reality and being exposed to gun violence and warfare can seriously alter a child's worldview. Little Timmy may not become a school shooter because he started playing COD at 5 but nevertheless seeing people shot everyday may cripple his faith in humanity, causing him to have see violence as a solution to problems, militarisation as the only road to peace and murder and gun violence as normal and acceptable facts of life.

    2) Violence in video games is more controversial than in movies or books because of how accessible it is. Imagine trying getting into an 18+ rated movie as a 5 year old, it's not easy to say the least, now imagine trying to find footage of an 18+ rated video game (such as COD) as a 5 year old, it's ridiculously easy. Ironically your video is a prime example of this being easily accessible to people of any ages despite showing the goriest scenes from games rated 18+ for their violence.

    3) The storyline of cod games is not objectively "good", that is your opinion, an opinion you did not justify. The franchise consistently uses shock sequences such as the "no Russian" mission not to inspire though or challenge the players assumptions about modern warfare, but to spark controversy and sell copies of the game, because "there's no such thing as bad press". In the same vein COD's 'horrors of war' scenes do not exist to reveal the nature of warfare to the player but to appeal to the subsets of the population who can't endorse hours of unmitigated violence thus allowing the games to appeal to a wider demographic. You can bet every scene in a cod game is focus tested extensively to ensure the series never goes anywhere politically or ideologically controversial to the games pro-(American)-military target demographic. Thematically the franchise echoes two problematic sentiments, that sometimes violence is the only path to peace and order, and that soldiers in the field always make the right calls. for a more detailed analysis see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtCV421T52s&t=21s.

your argument repeatedly loops back to COD being transformative for the medium because it has both violence and good storylines, yet you fail to explain why the stories are good, instead taking this unfounded opinion as fact.
