They should have an after match survey if you can hear footsteps or not and then compare the data as to why some do and some don’t.

you cant hear footsteps? sometimes i think footsteps are too OP with the way i can locate someone by just listening. running and jumping/diving are so loud. I use the wired steelseries arctis pro with gamedac. sound is on headphones and using ps5

The footsteps from the people running around in the gulag above you are flawless. Only a shame you can’t hear the person you’re fighting. If they could do this and add solos back that would be nice, but probably a 2-3 year fix and in doing so they will break 500 other things as usual

I think the footsteps are inconsistent. I do hear them yet sometimes it’s confusing. Footsteps on the floor above sound louder than next to me.
