I’m wondering if anyone else has the same reaction when you kill a MnK player as me. To me it is so painfully obvious in the kill cams whether i’m playing vs controller or MnK. It genuinely makes me laugh when I see another MnK player and were both missing shots and over shooting the target, under shooting, flicking way past the target, or watching them try to track in close range building fights is just hysterical. It’s such a stark difference I laugh about it haha

AA is 100% too strong and I’m a controller player. As someone who switches between WZ and PUBG console, I see just how strong AA is, but and it’s a huge but, it is virtually impossible to balance M&K and controller. They are so different that it’s just not possible IMO. Other games have found a better balance than COD, but none have created an equal playing field.
The only way to “make it fair”, would be input based matchmaking, but that comes with various issues, such as splitting the player base, match making times, people abusing the system (spoofing inputs) etc.
I don’t know what the answer is. I’d say trial Input based matchmaking as a start, but with the falling numbers, I can’t see that working well.
If they split inputs, I’d be all for the removal of AA all together in controller only lobbies, then we’d create an actual ‘aiming’ skill gap for controller players.

COD is one of the worst offenders, but the problem is that this is just the reality of most online FPS games now. Everything is dictated by analytics, user retention, and revenue generation. I imagine they know exactly what they are doing and the numbers show that this type of system makes the most money. There’s a much bigger pool of “less skilled” players and keeping them happy by making it seem like they are good is what’s best for business.
As a MnK player I’m just so demoralized at this point. Even if I was a controller player, I still wouldn’t want this shit. FPS has been my primary gaming passion my whole life, but I don’t know if I can do it anymore (I know boohoo, poor me, etc etc..). Tears of the Kingdom comes out soon, so I guess for now, I’ll just look forward to that.
