Update: restarted the game and it looked even worse in the menu, then crashed.
Gpu updates? Turn off pc, cut off power for 10 seconds to let system restart, then start up system. Scan and repair/validate files. Let shaders in game compile at main menu, should say it at top left. Lower all setting to minimum then try playing. That all I have as suggestions.
