Really weird thing to care about
I think the total just displays incorrectly on that screen. In my experience you get a higher total on the next screen where it actually applies the XP to your total.
I don’t know where the error lies, but I think the “missions complete” section counts your teammates as your own, but doesn’t actually give you the xp for it.
The above statement is pure speculation on my part, and could easily be wrong.
