It ain’t gonna do shit. All the major companies that produce XIM and Cronus like products have already found work arounds for Fortnite’s ban. Seems like the same will happen for COD

Not sure it’ll stick. There is a percentage of players who actively need third party software like cronus because of disabilities (lack of use in hand/hands is a major one) and use it as a cost effective tool to map buttons and whatever else.

XIM community has already confirmed that it continues to be undetected. XIM is also used by disabled individuals to allow them to enjoy the game. I think it should be taken into account how banning a device could discriminate against the community of individuals with disabilities.

What do Cronus and Xim devices even do in WZ2? The spray patterns on guns are far more random compared to WZ1. I can’t see recoil scripts helping that much. Also aim assist is already extremely sticky and there’s little movement that can break cameras.
Even if this crackdown worked, I doubt anyone would notice. Maybe it’s not an external device… maybe they’re just better than you?

Cronus shouldn’t even be a worry. Its usually trash players using it thinking it will make them good. It’s the most overrated device
