If I have a lot of points on a simpler map on early rounds then sure. Usually I just buy it when I’m bored at higher rounds.

There are so many other things to spend that 3000 points on, why would I spend them on a melee weapon that becomes useless just a little bit slower than the base melee?

Almost every map if I can get it by round 6. Gives me 3 full rounds of melee kill points. After that, the points going to getting a gun packed or more perks is more beneficial, at least to me.

By the time I usually get to it, it’s not much help anymore.
Only time I’ve busted my ass for a melee weapon was the Galva Knuckles on Tranzit, and that was just because I banked a loooooot of points.

It’s like my third weapon buy depending on how easily accessible it is. But I have a tendency to knife up until round 30 so having a Bowie knife is much better than using the little starter blade

No, it one-shots until round 10, and you need to kill about 24 to break even. I just headshot the zombies. Like the other comments, buy it late round for the swag.
