I bought the game today cause it was only 20 euros and I wanted to play zombies. I downloaded it but when I started it it got stuck in the “connecting to the online services” screen, going back and forth between “verifying files” and “downloading” (forgive me if these are not the right terms but my game is in Italian).
Also, the first time I launched the game I got “fatal error”. This also happened when I launched it for the first time after uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
i tried following a guide made in 2023 but non of the fixes seemed to work. However, I did get a different problem after doing a clean boot up. Rather than getting stuck in the “connecting to the online services” screen I got a black screen.
I tried:
\- closing and reopening the game
\- closing and reopening [battle.net](https://battle.net)
\- uninstalling and reinstalling the game
\- scan and repair
\- updating graphic drivers
\- cleaning caches
\- doing a clean boot up
Did anybody have this error or know how to solve it?
