I’ve also noticed this in DMZ. I replaced a dying heartbeat sensor with a new one I found in a loot container and it was immediately dead.
Heartbeat sensors have been fucked up for a long time. I’ve noticed that if you pick one up, replace it with a different secondary, and pick up the sensor again, the sensor is completely drained.
