Solo completion is still an achievement with or without gums, now you’ve just got an excuse to try and again and have a bigger challenge!

It’s not cheating since everyone has access to it. If you chose not to use gums you’d just be handicapping yourself for no reason.
it’s not at all cheating, it’s still a great feeling, you had to learn the steps and got to experience the full story of the map. The best part is you can do all the eggs like this, then if you feel like it, go for a round 2 with classic gums!

Most people forego them because they make it near impossible to die, in a game that most feel is easy enough already, but do what makes you happy! Sometimes running around as a god is where it’s at.
Everyone is here to point out that “technically” it’s not cheating (which to be clear, it isn’t cheating), but share your mindset. I tend to not consider a map “completed” unless I can beat it without consumables.
Regardless, great job! And if your goal is to beat it with only classic gums, you’re well on your way!
