Melee should be 5 hit kill minimum. Maybe even 2 hits per plate and 2 for health. It’s ridiculous how strong they think a punch is, when it takes 8 shots from a gun to kill someone.

Melee has always been OP. Once on caldera I was in the middle of a room about 10 feet from a window. Dude runs up to the window with kali sticks, swings, and downs me somehow. He was outside the building the entire time. Dumbest melee kill ever.

That is def a server thing, you latency spikes to 75/80 so there was definitely a melee that he got in before you downed him that didn’t register till after. Agreed this is frustrating it’s near impossible to get away from people when they melee you, will literally tac sprint hop away have 6 feet and they will be full out lunging at you somehow.

Redownload COD4: Modern Warfare remastered. Unfortunately the player base is so small that we can only play TDM in it right now but it is SO fun still. Classic feel, fun sniping. If we could get a player base we could get prop hunt games to be found again. Let’s revive this game and show Activision what we want.

Honestly, I find the two-tap melee the most egregious fuckup in the new game.
It was a problem last game, and they kinda fixed it, but still provides way too much incentive to land on someone’s head and bash them like the biggest fucking pussy in the world.
