Such a massive disgrace vanguard was.Every cod that came before had something that made them worth playing. Infinite warfare had one of the best campaigns I’ve played and still play from time to time, ghosts multiplayer was ok, but I played mostly extinction because it was unique, didn’t play BO4 so no opinion, and CW had a very solid campaign, MP, and zombies. I got immersed in the story by doing thee EE’s and finding the intel. There is nothing redeeming about vanguard, from top to bottom the MP was trash, the campaign is a badly written WW2 fanfiction, and zombies was easily the most universally hated part of all time. And MW2 is already going down the route of MW19 by being overshadowed and ignored by warzone and bootleg tarkov. No matter what your opinions of the older cods are, CW was the last game that had any amount of time, effort, and passion put in it. Because every game before CW had something that made them worthy of playing.

I’m sorry, I just in the last few months got really into zombies. Could someone explain what happened to Vanguard? I’ve only played COD3 zombies and Cold War zombies.

If Der Anfang had come out along with SNN Reborn or some other round-based map and had some more objectives and side quests, it could’ve actually been a good game. The mechanics introduced into Vanguard Zombies like the sacrificial hearts and in-game upgradable perks/field upgrades were pretty cool. Instead, we got a super underwhelming, unfinished, boring mode with bad decision after bad decision made by activision/3arch

I’m more upset the implementation of vanguard/Cold War “mixed” ranks broke everything in Cold War without treyarch bothering to fix any of it. Now stats tracking and the prestige shop are forever fucked without a peep from Treyarch
