Wish I Liked any of his work past Idoru, but none of it really works for me. But give the man credit, when he was on, he was *really* on and it’s still my favorite genre. I still admire his super visual/sense rich way of writing.

I just finished the Sprawl series again recently.
I still remember that one day that I learned at the very last minute that he was doing a presentation at a book club in my town. I cancelled all my plans to go see his presentation and meet him in person. I was the only person there that was below 80 years old for some reason.
But I was so stoked. He was doing a presentation about his then latest book Zero History.
