Hello highdeaology, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!

To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!

Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

I’m curious if anybody has tried out these fans or even a similar fan. You can pick 12 or 14 LED, you can magnet up to 3 of them together and you can simply reverse the blades for intake and exhaust so you don’t have to look at the housing on the back. 500-2000 RPM, RGB. Seems like it makes things a lot easier and would look way better. I am considering grabbing some but I wonder how good the color quality is. They are a little bit pricey at $120 for 3 of the 14 LED fans, $110 for the 12 LED ones.

These are the swafans specifically btw.

I haven’t tried them but I vowed to stay away from thermaltake after my first build. AIO failed after like 6 months and the fans were a pain to work with. Their rgb software is pretty terrible too. Phanteks is coming out with some reversible fans that I think also have a cable less solution

I just bought the new Lian Li V2 ones for my new build. Not sure if they are the same thing but they look similar. Waiting on the case i want to come back in stock so I can build this damn overpowered rig.

  5. I have the Lian Li Uni fans in my current PC. I saw these when they were being announced but didn’t want to wait for them to come out. I’ve had Thermaltake fans in a previous build and their software was atrocious. Maybe they’ve updated it over the years but I’ll remain skeptical.

I’m not understanding the “reversible fan” concept. Can someone explain?

I put my fans in my case so I get the airflow I want. I don’t need to reverse them after that. I don’t really mess with them at all beyond knocking off dust and maybe changing the colors via some software. They’ll spin up faster and slower as needed. I’ve never once thought “I wish I could put my fans in reverse for awhile”.

So I’m clearly misunderstanding something. Explanation please?
