These things look super top-heavy with very little ground clearance.

I wonder why they went with such an unstable design?

Build them into the frame of a power wheelchair, or something like that.

Or make them a little car with their head on a stalk, like a Mars rover.

  3. Not cyberpunk enough, until it pulls out a machine gun, shoots you down, and charges your next of kin for the cost of cleanup and bullets.

Yeah, they got that idea from ghost recon

Some may even call this a “Protectron”

You walked right behind it and it didn’t trigger kind of a shitty security guard if you ask me.

  8. Used to work security in California near the bay Area. How many of these are stolen a year?

I could’ve sworn I saw a clip of one of these security robots falling down an escalator and taking out two pedestrians at the bottom.

I wonder if these are the things Bill Burr was ranting about blocking the sidewalk in his podcast this week?

Needs a cowboy hat and bandanna and it’ll be perfect

Those lights are a body count. Once all the lights are on it can transform

Just looking for a small pool to end it all.

What do these things actually do?

Can these also be defeated by the mighty cardboard box? I’m looking forward to seeing these things rolling around with random tags and graffiti on them when people figure out how to evade their sensors

In a hotel California lot? I’m sure he’s programmed to let you checkout any time you want, but you can never leave…

Looks like something out of Watch Dogs 2

Make sure you have your hall pass

I’d sleep much better knowing that my car is being watched by a giant robotic buttplug.

Anyone else has an urge to beat the crap out of it with a baseball bat?

It’s weirdly cute, it’s like an egg just scooting around

There was one of these in the plaza of a bank in my nearby Chinatown. Within 2 days it was found outside covered in graffiti and floating in the fountain.

  23. Without a machine gun attached? Too easy to put on a truck and cover with copper mesh to stop it reporting its position. And of course a lot of material for a cyber gypsy to recycle. I love that.

Bro so hi-tech that i can kill him with a microwave transformer from a distance

Not for nothing but because of liability, human security guards can’t do anything but call police and monitor the situation, so I fail to see how this isn’t a good substitution.

It’s been ages since I had 20 seconds to comply
