Probably kino. Easy train spot, simple pack a punch step, 4 og perks in easy spots to remember, some traps as well and only 3 types of enemy on the map
massivecuntfuckface
Town definitely, a small map as simple as it can get, pack a punch in the literal center, has all the basic perks. It’s the map that taught me how to play
Nony654
I’d say natch der untoten for an absolute beginner so they get the basics down plus there’s a camp spot so they can get used to higher rounds. Then maybe move on to kino to get more experienced in the game.
whocareswerefreaks
Definitely nacht and then der riese
reddito1009
NACHT DER Untoten is the best. 3 rooms, no complexity and easy enough to get to double digits

Ascension isn’t that difficult for a new player and it made me get better at playing Zombies.

Kino for the basics, Town for learning to train, and SOE to introduce them into the more quest oriented maps.

Probably The Final Reich or all of the three Green Run survival maps
InstructionNo1126
Very unpopular opinion but, I finally got my girl to start playing zombies with me and I’m having a very easy time teaching her the bare basics on Farm and Town. She’s somebody who has no experience on first person shooters and and she’s catching on really well with the ease of those two maps. Once she starts getting comfortable with training, I’ll probably take her to BO1 or Tranzit

I started my brother with WW2 zombies. He didn’t like it at first. But once we started to understand the casual Easter egg. He got good. He even clutched with the boss fight. Beat his first Easter egg (which was also my first Easter egg).

Probably the one you know the best. This was you can carry them.
Tompkins-275
I learnt on IX. Map layout is literally a donut, 3 levels to each temple and a good trainin spot and WW. Good shit. Only annoying things are box locations and Zombie types (also, a BO4 thing; dealing with super sprinters fucked me off as a new player. But I love the map to bits)
No_Square_8775
I’ve always used nact. I would have them open the first two doors and then show them the box and then camp with them up my the nades

Nacht der Untoten: Big starting room so getting stuck isn’t as easy. Only 3 doors so it’s hard to get lost. Box never moves so they can keep hitting it and use a variety of guns. Depending on what version you play they can have a perk and experiment with Gobblegums.
Town: Even larger starting room (Fire sucks but it is what it is). Has a bunch of perks to play around with. Again, only 3 doors to open but that’s good for not getting lost and learning where said perks are. No power switch so everything is available including PaP which is available immediately. Box only has 2 locations so that’s an easy introduction to the moving box mechanic. Maybe turn on Hellhounds too to see how that works as well, that’s what everyone does anyway.
Tranzit: Not great for much other than learning about buildables since every stop has some sort of buildable at it.
ravensfan2798
Probably Blood of the Dead. The map is super straightforward, the catwalk is very inviting, and the easter egg is beginner friendly!

WaW : All of them are pretty basic and cool for beginners.
BO1: Kino.
BO2 : Town.
BO3: The Giant, but if you want to start getting into more complex and EE stuff I would say Der Eisendrache.
BO4: Every map is complex on its own way, but I would say either IX or Classified.
CW: Die Maschine, but Firebase Z can also do the job.
Vanguard: You’ll end up hating zombies if you start with Vanguard

Easiest maps now definitely the one in the picture (die machine) what I would recommend once you guys fall in love probably get black ops 3 and get chronicles then get some of the classics and have quite a bit of easy maps to have diversity in characters, weapons, environments, and Easter eggs totally worth for a newbie to new fan to want to catch up on some zombies. But Cold War definitely has all maps free so worth (avoid vanguard zombies, not worth)
