This is the main reason I quit 2019 not surprised it’s happening again.
COD MW 2019 grew from about 120 gigabytes to over 250, it took up a quarter of my hard drive. People were making up conspiracies that they do this to keep exclusivity on the storage of your system, and now that it’s happening again, kind of gives those arguments more credence.
I deleted the game because I was getting annoyed having to download games around a 250gb wart that barely worked anyway. And by barely worked, I mean countless UI bugs that would keep you from playing, or the bug that kept you from changing your load outs mid-game, or this bug or that bug, in a game where all you do is point and shoot. The game was fucking awesome. Seriously, the best CoD we’ve gotten in years, maybe even the best ever IMO. Deep mechanics, tight gameplay, reasonable TTK, so many guns and camos, and I was excited for it all until Warzone dropped, they shifted their focus, basically let MW2019 die in the water after the Halloween event, and it all needed to be included in another weekly 20gb update. Guess I’m not playing the game on days I plan to, because instead I have to update.
Man, can we just get a good shooter that doesn’t have shitty SBMM, has unlockables you don’t buy, has good maps, has good TTK, and doesn’t force update 20 gigabytes every week? You can’t ADS or even prone in CS:GO, and despite me enjoying it, it doesn’t scratch the same itch, and I’m not going through all the hassle to play CoDMW2, when it’s disappointing to everyone I ask about it.
