As far as I can tell, this site is the only mention of this (good luck searching for “finger ring” and not getting “ring finger” in the results!). It looks like a one-off specific to that person. Interesting to think about, but probably not something anyone is doing, or will do. It’s more likely they’ll cover their face or destroy the camera. Any photo evidence would likely be too far away, too low res for this to be a possibility. Or simply in a video, as someone else mentioned.
