is this for real

  1. It’s preinstlled pay walled content, every skin and appearance is preinstalled so when you buy them you don’t have to wait for them to download, blizzard also sucks at compressing games, it’s the main reason I don’t buy COD games anymore

  2. esreverflash

You can choose what you want to install, but yes that Is how much space you need on your rig if you want Campagin, Multiplayer and Zombies.

  3. There isn’t a company who likes owning your entire hard drive more than activision with cod. Scummy business practice.

  4. Betelguse16

I ran into that too. You don’t need to install it all at once though. The one good thing is you can pick a choose which parts you want installed.

Yea, HD assets are about 100GB. Not sure what you were expecting

  6. Not sure if the high resolution assets are worth the download. They make up most of the 200+ gb download from your picture.

It is because of how big it is it sucks but graphic fidelity and the ability to make bigger games with more content is unfortunately held back by technology decades behind on console vs what PCs can do these days

  8. Honestly play the campaing then delete it and then download zombies and/or mp.

  9. I can’t imagine not looking into how much storage a game takes up before purchasing it lmao

If you dont mind having 1080p textures high res textures is like 60gb of it and campaign is another 40 with only multiplayer and zombies it only takes 110GB on my xbox

  11. PsychologicalIsekai

the game looks fine without the hd assets.

  12. Storm_treize

Drop high resolution assets, if you’re not playing at 4K

  13. And that’s why I don’t play cod games anymore

  14. Earth_Normal

COD has poorly optimized assets. They also barely compress anything to save on performance.

  15. Stab_City

Yeah that’s a lot of hard drive real estate, but honestly you can skip the hi res textures. That will save you some download time

  16. HammyFresh

Does anyone actually play every single thing they offer? I only use it for multiplayer

  17. If you just install multiplayer and zombies it’s only about a hundred gigabytes. If you really wanna play the campaign I’d go for it but uninstall it after. Also do you really need the HD pack?

Activision are thieves stealing bought skins and weapons people paid for,I hate those fuckers.

I would play campaign first, then delete it. Then it just depends if your going to be playing both mp and zombies or just zombies, though you will need some mp maps to play zombie maps cause outbreak mode uses them for the open world.
