You on PC? You might have your system set to a surround format accidentally – I had this for a while and was getting so angry that I couldn’t hear anything from behind me

Legitimately, the footsteps are still so inconsistent. Even with a good headset and audio settings adjusted sometimes footsteps sound like there right next to me other times I get nothing.
You can actually hear it coming up on you. It’s unfortunate because if they made it too loud everyone would complain about it lol

I sort of get why you didn’t hear it, being focused on those guys, but the whole clip pretty much has a background hum which is the train. It is probably too quiet though, and the horn is pointless when it’s right on you. Lesson learned – don’t stop on the tracks.

I’m probably just old and bad, but I feel like the footsteps are just a loud mess and make it difficult to tell exactly where someone is coming from, especially compared to other shooters in the past. Should I change my audio settings or something?
