Always a tough call but I think the right one for WC if they want to keep pace with ex-EU & Soniqs.
Adam just doesn’t have the mechanics and fragging potential that’s needed for a team that should be contending for titles.
I really enjoy watching WC’s streams of scrims, but it’s always been very obvious watching that Adam is a few steps below the other 3 skillwise, and I think the days of being able to carry a player for their IGL role alone have passed with how competitive the top end has become.
Interesting to see who they pick up or even if they consider the left-field option and move to APAC, especially if there’s a thought that WC as an org might not continue after the whole GPT fallout.
Greg said on stream that WC has not yet signed them for the coming split so who knows what the future of the team is in terms of being an org.
That said Adam is a high IQ player – it will be interesting to see who they replace him with. Hope he lands somewhere as well – he definitely has his moments of brilliance and I think he is def good enough to fit in somewhere.
