They’re basically reverting back to Warzone 1 at this stage, and I love it. Game was definitely dwindling in numbers for them to have done this.

Healing should slow you down and leave you vulnerable, thats always been the balance tradeoff for healing in…. Literally any game except this one now

My only gripe with this is that I would have liked to see the plating boost to Quickfix (not the movement boost) which would kind of have made it like tempered. Otherwise it’s still pretty much a useless perk.

Can I plate while bunny hopping and dolphin diving around my enemies, firing at them with my dual pistols though? I really want to drive home the point this isn’t a place for tAcTiCaL pussies.

Frankly, I think it’s an L, and before everyone starts seething, let me explain. As a disclaimer, I mostly just play solos.
Most of the time when I kill enemy players, it happens in one of two ways. Ideally, I maneuver until they’re super vulnerable, and then half a (normal 30rd) mag of AR ammo later and now they’re dead. Usually though this isn’t feasible. Instead, I hit them with a burst from the AR and then swap to a pistol/SMG to chase them down as they run. Double time and Tracker help with this. Usually they’ll immediately go through a door/window or round a corner to try and replate, during which time I can close the distance and hopefully hit them before they’re ready. That’s viable for a decent distance.
Now there’s pretty much no point unless they’re totally exposed or I’m already super close. If I’m not super close, it means I’m mostly going to give away my position and antagonize another player, and I’m not going to have as much advantage for initiating the fight. That means there’s more incentive to play passively, rather than aggressively hunting down other players.

DUDES…..i can confirm….gunfights are escapable in this update. No more cement shoes!
Still need a plate and reload cancel for funsies….but i can understand not having it if they wanna call things “tactical”
