So many maps they had to get rid of maps that no one even complained about
Season 5 was amazing, 4 amazing MP maps
I stuck to this opinion throughout the last few years and I’m holding to it—Cold War is the best COD of the last 5 years and was the most well supported COD game in the “new era”. I wish Treyarch got the full development time to work on it AND that it was a 2 year COD game.
Im actually convinced the only reason people said this game sucked was because it used the original cod engine and not IWs one. I hope treyarch sticks to their engine as it feels more like what i would expect from cod as a series.
Besides launch bugs this game was fairly good, the console bricking bugs were dumb though. But after they fixed them it was good
It launched with 1 zombie map and 1 year later only added 3 more, def the worst content wise for any zombies game. Every map was so easy I got to round 50 or completed the ee on my first attempt of every map, no point in replaying it because it’s so easy it’s like watching a movie
And let’s not forget that we had really solid zombies content coming out at the same time.

Man just something feels so fun about warzone1, mw 2019, bocw I’ve played all of them but mostly mw 2019 ever since release until my main got banned for no fucking reason which I’ve grinded and spent tons of money on. Then mw2 comes out I play 3 weeks and never touch it again it just feels so boring

I put so many hours into Cold War, first time I got a mastery camo.
Loved that the game was supported a lot. Just that the setting and time period wasn’t for me.
Most of my time with this game was playing zombies because I did not vibe with the MP and even then the zombies sucked
I really enjoyed black ops cold war. I played it for 2 years with a friend. We mostly played zombies but it was so fun.
Despite getting into it during Vanguard S2, BOCW is a choice I don’t regret. Nuke Town, zombies, the campaign… I’m glad I picked it up and not Vanguard or MW2019.

Cold war was amazing. Gun fight tournaments, faceoff 6v6, great zombies, fast gameplay.
I know a lot of people hated cold war’s integration to warzone, but personally I loved playing rebirth island with the FFAR/Kar98k combo. Good times
People might hate me but I miss paying for zombie maps they were better quality and had more uniqueness and love in my opinion

Was so excited for once with a cod! Honestly I had fun with all seasons.
Cold war is a top 3 cod imo, still play it today. It had great post launch support, banger maps, streaks, new modes etc. Only real problems I had were the free streak system and air patrol being so cheap with no cool down. Also 1 shot weapons are annoying like snipers and crossbow. I love the slower ttk though so if they could just balance them better in the next game while keeping slower ttk. I hope they build off CW, keep that movement. I don’t want tac sprinting, mounting, or any of MW2s movement.

cold war was actually pretty good, probably the last cod i buy in awhile because of it
seasons 2 and 5 were my favourites even though the new weapons added in 5 absolutely decimated the meta and unfortunately still do
Call Of Duty died the day SBMM was a thing.
I liked it, especially the ability to unlock guns via zombies. I loved the zombies mode and almost exclusively played it.
