I didn’t think Japans octogenarians would be the ones getting the most hardcore cyberpunk gear, but here we are.

Wait 15? I shower in like, 5. 10 If I zone out thinking about philisophical things that have no relevance.

I would love one of those, I wonder if it can do hair..?
ifartsosomuch
Can I set it to a longer mode? Like a nice 30 minute massage in warm water, I can zone out or take a nap, and when I wake up I’m clean and dry? This sounds great.
AtlasTheProto
How is this cyberpunk, though? It’s cool technology that could be very useful for disabled or elderly people, but nothing about it screams “corporate exploitation”. It’s just cool.
NoctysHiraeth
Nah. I don’t really like fully automated anything. What if it decides not to turn off or let me out or something?
OctoRubio
I would need to know the water consumption rate per shower. Gotta postpone that water war as best I can.

Disable the massage, and that’s everything every parent ever has wanted/needed.
Even if it did the job poorly, that’d still be a better job than my kids usually manage, in less time, and without me finding myself asking things like “why is all that water get on the floor?” and “how did the ceiling get shampoo on it?”
Intro-P
does that massage come with a happy ending?
(someone had to ask)

I’d be all about this. I hate bathing. I just… I dunno it’s a struggle. I blame years of depression and maybe undiagnosed ADD. I don’t know. I know I’m a gross person, and this would just make it that much easier. Sign me the hell up.
El_Sjakie
Does it clean itself? If yes, then yes.
Bropil
thats cool
ericsonofbruce
Nah. It sounds awesome but I foresee a lot of maintenance with all those features

Is there an “over 15 minutes” option? Because…I’d live in this thing. 0_0

Fucking… LOVE…the freakiness modern japanese culture brings to tech. Haha, so god damned, wonderful, weird and refreshing!

No because I can wash my face, pits, balls and ass in under 5 minutes! I am living in the future’s future!
ErectTubesock
It sounds nice until a Netrunner hacks your shower pod and you end up drowning, suffocating, or getting scalded to death.
norieeega
Under fifteen minutes sounds weird. I’m either I’m and and out in four to five or dissociating for forty-five.
OwnsManyThighsocks
I have multiple chronic illnesses so 1000% yes I would – if it’s not shit and if I could ever afford something like that.

The design is very human!

Sounds rather luxurious and crude at the same time domehow
GunzAndCamo
How does it wash long hair?
D-Alembert
Kicking myself for never even thinking of *a washing machine for people*. What a seemingly-obvious and potentially very useful thing. How was this not invented decades ago?!? We made machines to wash *everything else*

Every healthcare facility should at least consider this
