That happened to me in DMZ the other day! I was happily driving, the game/car lagged briefly like in your POV, clipped through a wall and exploded
I’m more worried about questionable and ambiguous game design choices than fixable bugs tbh, this was hilarious.
This reminds me of that scene from The Wolf of Wall Street where Jordan it so high on drugs that he doesn’t know his driving is shit and crashing into everything.

There’s definitely a weird glitch relating to vehicles and that tunnel. Something Similar happened to me last night.
Was driving a quad through it and right when I got half way through the opening it stopped dead in its tracks, spawned me off the quad on the other end of the tunnel, and then the quad blew up.
Not sure what the fuck is happening there.

My buddy and I were playing duo’s last night and a bunch of quirky stuff happened.
TL;DR We died, game over, XXth Place. Spectating other team. Randomly spawned back in but could not control players until we turned our controllers off and on again. To the best of our knowledge there was no jailbreak and we didn’t have any gulags left.
STL;DR Praise Brendan Fraser.
Long version
1. I had won my gulag at the same time he died. The game acted like we both died, it told me we placed XXth place. “That’s confusing, I just won my gulag.” after a moment of black screen, *POOF* I was skydiving back into the fight. He ended up spectating a completely different player until I bought him back.
2. We made it pretty far to be killed again, this time no gulags left, XXth place. We were done, the game was spectating the guy that got us, we stayed on that screen just letting the game play in the background chatting about how we think it’s awesome Brendan Fraser is making a come back when *POOF* both of us were skydiving back in only our controllers didn’t respond. I splatted while his auto chute deployed. Neither of us could move so he popped his controller batteries out an in and voilà he was back in the fight. He ran over, revived me and we went on to get 4th.
