Out of all the issues, complaints, and problems we see discussed on these subs, I honestly don’t know why this isn’t spoken about more. They raised the base HP and raised the TTK in Caldera specifically because of this issue. Now it’s like Infinity Ward have said “yeah, no, fuck that mate, we want a game where you die faster than a human being can react”. TimTheTatman made some good points in a recent video….
1. No one should be dying faster than they can physically react.
2. No gun should be killing faster than the DMR in WZ1, multiple guns are capable of that in WZ2.
3. It shouldn’t take longer to kill the AI than actual players.
4. How can you have an RPK with a TTK of 400ms but snipers can’t 1 shot to the head.
It’s fucking ridiculous.

It’s so inconsistent. I had a dude down to no plates and 3/4 HP. And I had 3 plates. I got melted even after hitting shots on this player with like no health left. Doesn’t make sense. And my ping isn’t stupid high either. It connects at 37ms always.

Having watched the video a few times, he seemingly locked onto your head and every single bullet was a headshot. I’m almost certain either aim assist either kicked in abnormally strong or he was cheating.
Logically if someone shoots you in the head 8 times at point blank, you should probably die. But if it was aim assist, it shouldn’t be able to do that.

I mean, he did hit you with 10 bullets in the face without missing. I would complain more about how aim assist locked onto your head before you even came through the doorway, which in turned signaled the player (who already knew you were pushing) to ads and fire. You can prefire a lot of gun fights if you pay attention and look for AA ques. If you know how to manipulate the left stick to keep rotational AA active, it will start pulling before they are visible from behind cover in most engagements. I’m a mkb player that switched to controller based on how broken and easy to exploit AA is.

And somehow when I emtpy half a mag with Fennec in upper body sometimes my target doesn’t die. If the low TTK is not the issue then it is the absolute inconsitency of the TTK

The game is not competitive and is going to start dying off if they don’t make changes soon. The map is great, but there are so many small changes they need to make to get this game to a point where it has on-going replay value.

Controller players are landing significantly more bullets than they are capable of without the aim assist. Remove or reduce it and all the sudden the TTK wont look so unreasonable. This is a symptom of the aim assist issues that all the controller players defend with their life. If you want a more balanced experience and lower ttk, then advocate to reduce or remove aim assist. If you want the aim assist as is, then this is the game you are asking to play. Adding more TTK will not help because that guy has aim assist and has already locked on and shot first. Fight was done. REMOVE AIM ASSIST.
