I recently added the shelves. My book case was becoming a mess and I needed more shelf space. I previously had a T.V. mounted above my desk but rarely used it. I liked the idea of my books and trinkets populating my desk area. It feels cozy and warm. While also reflecting a lot of my interests in one snap shot. My next step is to look into some lighting.
