Played the shit out of this, when I was 12 and didn’t understand it fully, mainly because the game was very poorly translated.

I never finished it, but a Bladerunner Game with modern 2022 Graphics would be awesome

That game looks stunning particularly for the year. Very cool.

This was a pretty great game back then, mostly for fans. Otherwise, it was a decent point and click game. One thing is that it has a little more replayability compared to similar style games.
You can get this pretty cheap on GOG, and there have been quite a few sales. You might have fun if you can look at it through those 1996 eyes.
I bought the enhanced version on GOG as soon as I saw it, despite still having the discs for the original game. You get the original when you buy the enhanced version, and I recommend playing the original. The enhanced version felt weird and I think it looked worse.

I really wish more cyberpunk games got more in touch with the genre’s noir roots.

Before reading it I thought it was mr.bean in a cyberpunk city
God damn this game was good! A story that mirrored the theme of the movie without duplicating it, interesting characters and multiple endings with a lot of possible choices. One of my favourites from the era.

Where/how can I download and play this? Total pc noob 👉👈

This needs an HD remaster or a sequel – or both!

Oh man you just sparked some serious memories. When this game came out, it was spread on 4 CDs, which was the most I had seen as the time. You had to switch them out as you progressed through the game. The family computer I played on at the time had a disc caddy system instead of a CD tray based drive. This lead to me scratching one of the disks when I was trying to load it into a caddy (I dropped it onto something), which was devastating. Couldn’t finish the game till it came to GOG a few years ago. Still holds up IMO.

Oh man, I never finished this as a kid because of this one specific part were you had to shoot off the handcuffs of this guy you wanted to question then escape from an explosion.
Played it a half dozen times only to die at the explosion part. Except for the last time when; in a frenzy of angry mouse clicks; I realized that you could run if you double clicked… Guess how you escaped the explosion? That’s right running away.
I raged quit immediately after and never played again. Lol
I remember this game from my youth. Ah memories. I should play it again

I have a strong memory of holding the box for this game not long after it came out, standing in CompUSA.
I debated whether just barely meeting the CPU and RAM requirements with my Cyrix 6×86 P90+ and 16MB would be enough when considered against my 4MB Voodoo card.

Ray McCoy, rep detect.
Boy this brings back some great memories.

For 1997 this still holds up pretty well. I’ll add this to my ever increasing library of unplayed games.

I want to go into a fever dream and get transported here.

Wow, in hindsight, that looks just awful. I played through like 23 times because it just had the most awesome mood to it. Thanks for the flashbacks!
