This game is almost dead, i bought it on black friday it takes a significant amt of time to find matches as compared to modern warfare
MP the Tech 9 Marshalls and crossbow are OP so keep that in mind
They removed league play
The campaign is pretty good, similar to the original black ops you’ll see
Zombies… The easiest zombies in Call of Duty is this game
But it’s fun to grind

The other comment is absolutely not true, the game is far from dead. People buy it don’t like it and want to try to tell people how dead it is to stop them from buying it.
This cod plays much more like the older cods due to it being built in the black ops engine and now the iw engine that mw19 vanguard and mw2 was on. Play it like you would have played blops 2 or 1 with a bit faster of movement speed.
you should buy it for Zombies. a lot of MPs have lag stuff or just player drop off. campaign was amazing and Zombies is decent.
Skillbased Matchmaking. Thats it. But a lot of people stil play it, i usually find a lobby on pc within 10 seconds
CW is a great game, but be prepared for crashes. It’s probably one of the least stable games in the franchise (at least in my experience) and was never fully fixed, but when it does work, it’s great. It runs way better now than it did during its original life cycle though, so hopefully you won’t experience many issues with it now.
If ur good sbmm makes the match making longer
If you’re playing mainly for multiplayer good game because I’ve only seen like 10 cheaters In my 2 years of playing this game and if you’re going for zombies it’s easy but really fun to grind and the Easter eggs are kinda all laid out for you and I couldn’t tell you about campaign because I’m not a huge campaign guy but I would say 8/10 game have fun
if you’re into zombies it’s the easiest zombies modes out of the entire black ops series. that doesn’t mean it isn’t fun in its own right, but the other ones were definitely more challenging.
Love Cold War! So many maps, zombies is great, and so many multiplayer games. Yes, there’s not as many people playing online as before MW2, but there’s still quite a few people playing. It may take an extra 30 seconds to load in a game, but it’s so worth it!! See ya in the lobbies! 
Honestly, it’s not that different from BO3 aside from the jet packs and specialists. Modern COD has intense skill based matchmaking, so keep that in mind. There are battle pass and item stores now, but only for the newest COD, so it doesn’t affect Cold War. This game has integrated progression with MW2019 and Vanguard if you decide to purchase them.
There is a new attachment system called gunsmith which allows you to put 5 attachments on your gun. Pick 10 is gone. However, now attachments have downsides to compensate for having 5 of them. Because of gunsmith, each weapon has 55 levels for all the attachments. Camos suck because you have to grind to max level with every gun and there are like 60 camos to get for gold.
Zombies Outbreak is good mindless fun
Zombies mode has changed, ALOT.
Best CoD over the last few years, so enjoy it. All you need to really know.

Get ready for a great time but about 2 weeks in get ready to be steamrolled by sbmm
If the last game you played was BO3 then you’ll feel right at home. Cold War is very straight forward. Enjoy playing a bunch of remastered maps from BO1/2!
