The fact that you can start with any weapon, and upgrade it to be as usable as any other weapon, bar wonder weapons.

I didn’t get much into it but I loved the cinematic/story behind it to begin with, and how you could extract.

The movement.
2 years later alot of the stuff I liked hasn’t aged well, except the movement system. I still enjoy that.

For me, it just feels super fun and relaxing. I’m already getting bored of MW2 ’22 and I come back to CW Zombies and it never gets old, especially Outbreak and Die Maschine.

Firebase Z, and the progression system

The sandbox and progression. Never got into zombies much before Cold War and I really enjoyed gradually getting upgrades on everything. Looking forward to the sequel

Gun play b4 round 30, then it sucks
No_Skill_Cross
The grind factor, actually having challenges to work towards and a mastery camo in zombies, back then you only really played for fun going for high rounds or doing EEs. Which got repetitive sometimes but in cold war I actually had weapons to level up get gold unlock the mastery cards, had calling card challenges season challenges
Basically it made it replayable for a while the only downside was once you complete everything it feels stale and boring and there’s no fresh restart like bo3 and bo4 so I had to make a new account just to regrind the game
On my 3rd account already

Definitely its accessibility, every map is easy without feeling mind-numbing. My cousin could never get into old Zombies because of all the shit they had to juggle in her mind, but I asked her to play Cold War with me and she loved it.

Probably the progression system and the loadouts. It was really fun to just grind out new weapons and level up as I play. It made the Battle Pass less useless as a Zombies player, and it gave me more reasons to come back and aim for Dark Aether.

Free dlc
The variety of customization with the gunsmith. Having like 6-10 options for each type of attachment and each having their own pros/cons was very fun.
The camo grind.
Challenges to unlock weapons.
Being able to upgrade perks, field upgrades, ammo mods and each tier offering different benefits.
The pack a punch system.
The daily challenges.
The season challenges and calling cards.
Basically how your strategy for the particular game your playing and starting load out can change based on what daily challenges/season challenges your trying to work on and not just start with a pistol and try to get the same weapons x/y/z every game.

The progression system. I love that the game have something to grind for outside of the match. I hope we have a similar (and improved) system on the next Treyarch game.

enjoyability. i could hop on whenever, get round 30 on any map and itll always be a blast

I love a lot of things, but especially all the things that returned as buffed versions of themselves
(The Raygun feeling like a real wonder weapon, PhD slider, with useful features besides explosive resistance…)
And, over all, a zombies experience great for beginners, and for having a good time with friends without everything turning into chaos after round 25
PoopCumAndShit
Honestly it’s outbreak. It’d likely be my favorite mode if they added crossroads as a map and fixed all the crashing

The gameplay. It’s so simple yet addictive and fun. Whether I’m playing a round based map, outbreak, or onslaught, I’m having fun

I really don’t think there’s anything I dislike about it. It would be cool if there were more maps but the maps it has aren’t bad at all.
