And them’s the facts

Here we go again. Such an incredibly brain dead argument. It does not have the same magic because the game simply has no identity, gameplay pace, innovation and most importantly fun. Covid or lockdowns helped WZ1 but it did not define the game.

  2. Jedipowerboy5

or maybe because the game is fundamentally broken and dogshit LOL

  3. windows95mann

And because the game is ass compared to wz1. They literally slowed everything down and took mechanics away that we already had. They changed the whole game and wonder why people don’t like it.

Everyone I know enjoys the game. This is literally the only place that complains about it. It’s to the point where I’m about to start believing in conspiracy theories….

The magic was the high decatane, sweaty movement and 4 v 1 outplay potential. They killed this in warzone 2.0 essentially shafting themselves.

Imagine watching John wick but he shot like a average rookie cop. Every gunfight scene was him behind cover shooting back and forth between enemies for 10 mins. The movie would bomb.

The entertainment factor has been scaled-down.

If it was soley covid other games would have blown up as well.

    L take.

My squad was playing WZ1 right into its final days.

All of them have dropped off now because the new game is so frustratingly buggy.

  7. I played warzone a lot because I had no life during that period.

I have no life now also but I don’t play it because it’s not so original

TTK sucks. Movement sucks. Unable to plate while moving.

    Aim assist fairly strong.

Game clearly geared towards the little Timmy and tommys winning gun fights.

Fennec pretty much unbeatable up close. Long range is pretty much RPK. There are some other options but RPK is pretty much the best currently.

Sniping requires more skill. Less reward.

I have a full time job. 2KD in WZ1 with over 400 wins. Plus 200 rebirth wins

My friends have no desire to play this game anymore. Congrats IW

Nope, WZ2 is just inferior in every way

  10. fox_hunts

    Nope.

Covid helped but the real reason is Warzone 1 is very much different than Warzone 2. They made too many changes which slow the pace the of the game down. These changes make sense for DMZ, but hurt Warzone.

That’s why so many more people are just playing DMZ over Warzone. The mechanics were designed for DMZ where it makes sense. Warzone could be good again, but they’d have to walk back a lot more of the changes they made.

Covid is not the reason. Warzone 1 was massively successful for far longer than the Covid lockdowns lasted.

  11. Nah man, I worked literally the whole time like nothing was happening and I don’t think this game is nearly as fun as WZ1 was.

  12. ToxicShark3

The game has been dumbed down too hard. They can absolutely target more casual players but that’s not for me

  13. I was playing rebirth and fortune’s keep every single night with the boys until WZ2 came out and there was no lockdown dumbo. Now everyone quit. There’s no need for flat earthers conspiracies, this game just isn’t as good/as fun for us.

  14. SomethingWitty4ere89

This is such a stupid argument lol

  15. IAmZaid321

I’m convinced it’s the Dev’s or activision employees that’s make comments like these. I stayed working throughout the whole Plandemic and my gaming schedule hasn’t changed at all.

  16. teddytwelvetoes

what lockdown lol Chili’s switched to pickup only for like a week and we called it a day

  17. taintedchops

What a tone deaf take, completely out of touch

  18. Maedhros_

You guys need to stop this bullshit.

The lockdown just made so people started playing something out of necessity. It didn’t make the game better or worse at all.

WZ 2 simply sucks where it matters. That’s it. I stopped playing because it changed things that were fundamental to my playstyle and made a worse paced game overall.

  19. zcicecold

    Wrong.

It doesn’t have the same magic because it’s not as good. There are plenty of us who were “essential” and didn’t miss a day of work.

Warzone was just better, mostly because Of Verdansk, but also because it was built on better bones (MW2019 was better than the shitshow that is MW2).

  20. pirate-private

It’s a poor man’s PUBG that was deceitfully named “Warzone 2.0”, with the devs being _on record_ saying they wanted to allow dynamic players a good experience. But it’s only looting, trekking, camping, being careful and winning by being the first to shoot. It’s a game design failure. For the record, I had the most fun in wz1 _after_ all lockdowns. Stop overlooking the questionable decisions made in the design of Wz pubg 2.0.

  21. badgersana

Warzone 2 doesn’t have the same magic because every needless gameplay change they’ve made has only made the game worse

  22. They were working on DMZ, but fucked Warzone 1 up so bad they needed a reset, so they rushed to build Warzone 2 on the DMZ structure and it’s noticeable. That’s why it’s not as good.

  23. unheardcreation

Usually just lurk around here but the amount of coping I’ve seen these last two months is hilarious. This game is like walking around with 50 lb concrete bricks attached to your feet. It has no pace, no identity. WZ1 had a skill gap, WZ2 has little to no skill gap period and it was designed like this on purpose.

  24. Even_Assignment7390

I just don’t enjoy playing it.

Some may, but my group just doesn’t have fun.

That’s fine though we just play wz1
