Hello dammit_sammy, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!
To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!
Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

Put a raised surface above the vents for the cat to lay on that also allows air to escape. Either that or keep your cat off your pc.
hakavillon
Oh my… you might need to install fans on the cat 🙂 Agree with the raised surface idea.

Cats like to sit on top of PCs bcs of the heat vents. While its warm and comfy for the cat, it’s awful for the PC bcs the heat needs to be exhausted out from the case.
There’s a way around this tho. You could get yourself a [wood monitor riser](https://images.app.goo.gl/Pn3yv6Fcc4RJ1mSA8), while it is made for rising monitors, but on your case (pun intended) due to it’s relatively small dimension, you could fit it on top of your pc, allowing for the heat to vent out while warming the riser at the same time, making it a super comfy spot for your cat, with the added bonus of preventing their fur shedding into your case, clogging your fan rotors etc
Loddio
There is only one vent on top, not a huge deal having your cat nuts layng on it
Lasergamer4956
What a sexy looking pc
SlyZip
I put a playstation controller on the top of mine which seems to keep my cat off
severanexp
Haha I have three cats and they all do this 🙂 so cute!
Regarding your pc, I don’t recognize the case but mine has fans at the bottom and top. If yours have fans at the bottom, start by raising the feet a bit of the ground. 2.5 cm is enough. Regarding the top fans, do you have dust filters there? If you have them already, then I don’t think you need to worry. My case (lian li lan cool 2 mesh performance) has a big filter at the top and I get no cat air stuck there. It’s important to clean and dust it frequently but other than that you’ll be fine 🙂
The front though is a completely different issue…
kioshi_imako
I built my own desk, you can protect the top of the pc for little to nothing a few screws some 2×4 peices, and some scrap wood trellis.
ltanner
This is a problem you’re gonna have to take up with the bunny.
JamesK1220
Damn that’s a really expensive cat heater
Zhurg
Some sort of shelf above your PC which has a gap to allow air to escape. Really though you do not want your cat shedding its hair into your PC.
RebelDriver
You don’t, it’s the cats PC now. Maybe buy another one
Bug_freak5
The cat seems happy 😊
Merry Christmas
SrCow
Just return the cat…
Crazyguy_123
Like others have said just put a cat shelf with a gap above the PC so your fluffy friend can still sit up there.
Last_Friday_Knight
Put a cucumber on top.
Nytim
mouse traps work best on cats
HorribleMistake41
Buy your cat a phone. Teach cat how to answer. Keep cat in different room. Call cat, tell it hey, this is the only way to hang out since your fur is going to clog the everliving fuck out of everything inside this computer case. “Meow”
Chaleowin
Make a point to clean off the intake air filters at least once a month.
StupidIdiot80
No worries, the cat absorbs the heat.
ToughProgrammer
Cats don’t belong on pcs.
Everyone thinks it’s so cute until they see the damage an incontenent aging cat can do to itself and the computer after it accidentally pisses on your PSU
Get a scat matt or something.
Charred cat and cat piss mixed with burning electronics is not an easy smell to get rid of
riefpirate
Something Triangular that doesn’t obstruct air flow or maybe a collender
Exlibro
True beauty!
And I like the PC, also.
cashinyourface
Put something uneven on the top of the pc. It should keep the cat off
Acrobatic-Truth
You don’t need to do anything because as far as I can tell there are no fan install in the top side and all intake fans are in the front and cpu is pulling air to the back so the air will just flow from the front to the back and GPU output will make a little bit of air leaking out of the top but I don’t think anything will happen even you seal the top vent
