Hey! Let me know whatcha think. Long story short: 2 cousins crying about Zombies mode doesn’t support splitscreen.

  1. I hate to break it to you, but simply adding splitscreen isn’t an easy task.

They didn’t include splitscreen in the first place because no one uses it anymore apart from a tiny minority, it was a natural progression for it to go.

I don’t think they would spend the extra labour needed to add it into a game that isn’t the newest title anymore, over one sappy christmas story. I do sympathise with your situation, but that’s just the reality. They’re not going to notice this post, but that doesn’t mean you can find another workaround. Vanguard is cross-platform as far as I’m aware, maybe you can do something where you hook up 2 consoles and play together that way? Best of luck.

Edit: redditors realising game development isn’t just flipping switches that turns features on and off: 👹👹🤬😡😠😤😠😤😤🤬😤🤬😠

All of you, go outside. Get a fucking reality check.

Your homework is to check again for typos

Splitscreen hasn’t been a things in gaming since Bo2 as I don’t remember any game after that in Cod ever having split screen.

Edit: yeah so apparently it has been in every game. Shows how little I know about it lol

I’m more concerned about the fact they wanted to play split screen zombies and decided to buy vanguard to play out of all the others with zombies.

Damn y’all are ruthless. I think it should be expected of any game to have split screen. Kinda ridiculous that a modern game would lack a basic ass feature that’s been around in games since like 2006.

But yeah honestly I hear vanguard is terrible anyways if it makes you feel any better. My friend and I just split-screen BO1/2

First recorded incident of people being upset that they can’t play Vanguard zombies.

Yet another L for Vanguard zombies, throw it on the pile.

  8. DangleWho

They actually did you a favour by net letting you play Vanguard zombies.

    first mistake: getting cod vanguard

They’re hardly “crying” and seemed pretty chill. If all the other zombies had split screen I think it’s reasonable to assume it would be in Vanguard.

You might consider trying Infinite Warfare and WWII if you haven’t already? Zombies in Spaceland is the best pack-in map we’ve ever gotten and is really worth a play or two… Thousand.

If you have played them… Well, sadly, Vanguard was a wash altogether; you’re actually better off NOT playing it at all. Not including splitscreen is only one of the many, MANY examples of corner-cutting and rushed decisions that Vanguard has to offer. The only good experience in the whole game is Shi no Numa, and you’ve had two other opportunities to play that (three if you ever went back to World at War).

If it makes you feel any better, though, the next CoD has been delayed a year because fans complained about the yearly schedule resulting in this consistent lower quality, so I’d imagine that your next Christmas together will result in another great game to play at last. Until then, cherish what you have, hold onto hope… And maybe try It Takes Two, that’s one of the best co-ops I’ve ever played.
